Redemption expected for Yankees in Game Four of World Series
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Yankee fans expect redemption at Game Four of the World Series on Tuesday.
Some fans have been walking around the streets of the Bronx as if they own the place.
They're not with the New York Yankees.
People in pinstripes are worked up and worried going into Game Four. The home team is down three to zero, and no team in the World Series has returned from that deficit to win the series.
Louis Valle looked back at Monday night's game while looking ahead.
"We should have won. Now it's all hands on deck," he said.
Yankee fans are holding on to hope.
Local shops, bars, and restaurants don't want the series to end. The games are good for business.
"People will come in pumped up, and the Yankees will pull this one out," said DugoutBX Owner Shelia Smith. The bar is across the street from gate six, under the train tracks.
The series is a best of seven games. Forcing a fifth game at this point has only happened 24 other times in the more than 120-year history of the World Series.
Game five would be played in the Bronx on Wednesday evening.
