Paris Hilton Is Saving Her Iconic ‘The Simple Life’ Clothes for Daughter London — With One Major Exception
Paris Hilton’s daughter London is her mom’s mini-me, but that doesn’t mean the almost-1-year-old will look exactly like her famous mama. The socialite and fashionista revealed she is sharing many of her iconic outfits from The Simple Life for London to wear one day with one major exception: no ultra-revealing outfits!
“I keep a lot of those pieces because they’re very iconic,” Hilton told PEOPLE Monday night at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards of her clothes from her hit early 2000s reality series. “Some I’m going to give to my daughter London.”
“Probably not the low-waist cut jeans or the miniskirts, but she will get the Dior and the Louis,” she continued. Honestly, that’s a fair trade off! My mom didn’t let me wear low-rise jeans either, but I didn’t get any Dior pieces to make up for it!
Hilton, who shares London and 21-month-old son Phoenix with husband Carter Reum, told Us Weekly that she has been saving clothes for her daughter for years.
“I’ve saved pieces for London my entire life before she was [even] here,” said in April. “Ever since the beginning, my mom saved me so many amazing pieces. So I always knew one day when I had a daughter that I wanted to save her all of my favorite iconic pieces.”
“She is going to have quite the wardrobe!” the “ADHD” singer added. These include her mom’s 21st birthday dress, her chainmail Julien Macdonald minidress, and her Oscar de la Renta lace wedding gown. Of the latter, Hilton added, “I’m sure she’ll get another one, but it’s just cute to save for her.”
There was no doubt that London will grow up like a little fashionista with Paris Hilton as her mom, but with a closet-full of vintage pieces to choose from, she is going to be even more iconic than her mom one day!
