Ella Emhoff Brings Edge to 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards Wearing a Sustainable Coach Look and Black Boots
Kamala Harris‘ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff brought her unique style to the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards on Oct. 28 in New York City. The artist, fashion designer and Second Family member modeled a fall-ready Coach look with a pair of black boots.
Emhoff wore a fitted gray knit tank with a dark plaid skirt that flared out slightly and fell down to her ankles. The skirt was adorned in front with an oversized gray bow in the same knitted material. She wore her hair slicked back, revealing a single dangling spider earring, an appropriate choice as we near Halloween.
For her footwear, Emhoff selected a pair of black boots featuring a square toe with rounded edges. The upper appeared to be covered in a smooth leather-like material while a low block heel gave the shoes a modest lift. Silver metallic detailing in the back lent the style a hint of edge and shine.
Boots are one of many shoe styles Emhoff likes to slip on. At the Democratic National Convention in August, she opted for a classic pair of black Mary Janes, which she wore on stage with white socks and a blue and white gown. She’s also a fan of shoes from Vivaia, a brand which focuses on sustainability.
