Cynthia Ervio Goes Glam in Silver Dress and Mesmerizing Dolly Alta Louboutin Boots For Second Look at the 2024 CFDA Awards
Cynthia Ervio popped out in a silver dress and Christian Louboutin boots on the 2024 CFDA Awards red carpet.
Designed in a sleek, all black style, the boots featured an angular pointed toe box, the signature Christian Louboutin red bottoms and a zipper closure, with the silhouette being rounded out by a heel measuring between 3 and 4 inches in height. The shoes were the designer’s Dolly Alta 160 platform ankle boots, which feature a 2-inch platform.
Completing her ensemble was a silver sequin dress characterized by its puffy sleeves design. Sporting her signature nose ring, the “Wicked” star kept it simple with 1990s-style makeup. As the night’s host, the actress arrived to the red carpet alongside Zac Posen earlier in the night in a different all-black look and changed into the dramatic silver look later in the event.
Christian Louboutin continues to be among the most globally recognized luxury shoe designers. Born in January 1963 circa Paris, Louboutin started his career as a freelance designer, officially launching his own shoe salon in 1991. In the thirty-plus years since, Louboutin shoes have become a widely requested namesake popular amongst the likes of celebrities and influential figures in the couture space. Recognized for their red bottoms and high-quality craftsmanship, Louboutin’s have revolutionized the fashion industry with their bold designs and commitment to innovation.
Ervio wasn’t the only one who chose boots for the event. Ciara also opted for a pair of pointed-toe leather boots that were likely from her new collection with Bebe. Crafted with patent leather material, the subtle-yet-elegant style were constructed with a triangular design on the upper, and also featured a zipper closure. While the back of the shoes couldn’t be seen fully, it’s likely they were completed with a chunky block heel that measured in-between 3-to-4 inches in height.
