'I hope Social Security's around': Trump rallygoer expresses fear of Project 2025
A supporter of Donald Trump said she feared Social Security would be degraded after being warned about Project 2025.
Ahead of a Tuesday Trump rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania, a woman named Chris expressed her fears to Right Side Broadcasting Network host Matt Kane.
"And now I'm retired, and I'm concerned about the way the country's going because I'm collecting Social Security," she explained. "And I have friends who keep trying to say, you know, because the Democrats keep saying that Project 2025 is Trump's, and it's not, but they don't seem to listen, you know.
"And I hope Social Security's around."
Kane asked the woman about Trump's ties to Project 2025.
"So, would you say your friends are Kamala supporters?" Kane wondered.
"I would think so, because of the fact that they don't believe that Social Security is going to exist," the Trump supporter replied.
"Disclaimer, not all of her friends," the woman's daughter chimed in.
"Now, when you talk to people, let's say your friends, if they are Kamala supporters, is it all anti-Trump rhetoric or do they have anything positive to say about Kamala?" the RSBN host asked.

"No," the woman said. "And because she can't answer any questions, you know, all she ever does is bash, is bash them any time they ask, and then when she says that she's from a middle-class family, I don't believe that either."
Authors of Project 2025 have said plans to cut Social Security were a "myth," but the organizers do recommend "reform" to Medicare.
