Cooper Flagg Signs On With Gatorade
A big deal for a big deal
Cooper Flagg recently signed an NIL deal with New Balance, a shoe company in his home state of Maine. When he did so, he said that it was because New Balance was a home-based company and he wanted to give back, which was pretty cool.
Some of that logic seems to have gone into his latest deal as Flagg has now signed with Gatorade. He’s the first college player to do so.
About Gatorade, Flagg said this: “For me it was a huge opportunity coming from a family that drank Gatorade pretty much my whole life. I grew up with my brothers drinking Gatorade almost every day. So I think having that kind of connection and then just aligning myself with the brand that is very high level and about the right stuff and does it the right way.”
He seems to be making deals not just for the most money but for the best reasons.
