How to watch Spurs vs Crystal Palace – Team news, predictions and more
Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to win back-to-back games in the Premier League when they face Crystal Palace this weekend. Here’s all you need to know about the fixture, including how to watch the game, who’s missing for Spurs, and what we think the score will be.
After the disappointment of the Brighton defeat before the international break, Spurs bounced back with a mightily impressive showing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend, defeating local rivals West Ham 4-1.
Meanwhile, Palace are struggling, and are one of four Premier League teams yet to win a game this season. Oliver Glasner’s side are currently in the relegation zone and will be desperate to get out of there as soon as possible.
How to watch Spurs vs Palace
Unfortunately, the match between Tottenham and Crystal Palace has not been selected for TV broadcasting in the UK.
You will have to wait to catch extended highlights on Match of the Day 2 if you want to see any of the action.
When and where is the game?
The fixture is taking place at Selhurst Park on Sunday, October 27.
Crystal Palace are hosting, with a 2:00 pm kick-off time scheduled in.
Tottenham team news
Spurs have two players out of action, with both Heung-min Son and Djed Spence set to miss out this weekend.
The Tottenham injury list is fairly manageable at the moment, giving Ange Postecoglou near free rein when it comes to team selection.
Odobert had been out for more than a month with a hamstring issue but has been at Hotspur Way training this week and made a cameo against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.
Spence missed out on the West Ham game last weekend due to a groin strain, and while it’s not thought to be anything serious, the Palace game will come too soon for him.
Heung-min Son, meanwhile, is still recovering from some soreness after his performance against West Ham and will likely sit the game out on Sunday.
Palace are missing a number of players. Most notably, Cheick Doucoure is out with an ankle injury, Chris Richards is struggling with a thigh issue, and Matheus Franca is missing due to a groin injury.
They’ll also be without Chadi Riad Dnanou, while Rob Holding’s exile from the squad shows no sign of coming to an end.
Spurs to register back-to-back wins
Palace have looked woeful this season, lacking strength at the back and showing very little sign of causing teams problems in attack. That probably means they’ll get their first win of the season this season, knowing Spurs.
But, in all seriousness, Tottenham have to be getting a convincing win here, and it will be really important to put together a good run now. We should have too much for Palace, and I’m expecting a 2-0 win for Spurs.
