Love Is Blind's Marissa George Reveals She Tried to Date Ex Ramses Prashad After Filming
Marissa George is opening up about her relationship with Ramses Prashad after Love Is Blind.
The two met on the most recent seventh season of the Netflix dating show, and even got engaged.
However, right before they were supposed to get married, they had a conversation and Ramses said he couldn’t go through with it and she cried while he held her in the season finale.
In a new interview, Marissa talked about their split and revealed that they did talk after the show, and she tried to date him again months after their breakup.

“I offered to not get married. We can stay engaged, or we can do everything on our own timeline. We don’t have to move in immediately. That was never the plan anyway. We don’t have to be engaged to date. It was a hard no,” Marissa told Glamour.
She revealed that she asked to keep dating him outside of the show, but he said, “no, absolutely not.”
“Throughout the whole breakup—which made it worse—he couldn’t really give me a reason. To this day, I don’t know if he really has a good reason. I think he has tried to pinpoint certain things, like that I listened to podcasts in the morning and I sing in the shower type of stuff,” Marissa shared. “But at the time of the breakup, he was just like, ‘I don’t feel at peace anymore, and I feel like our energies off and I’m gonna hurt you in five years, but I love you and want to be with you, but this is moving too fast.’”
“And I’m like, ‘Okay, well, let’s just not move fast. You stay in DC, I stay in Baltimore. But stay together.’ And he was like, ‘No.’ And that’s a very hard thing to grasp: How do you supposedly love this person so so much, and they don’t even want to be with you? Then I’m thinking, it’s me, because he’s saying it’s my energy.”
After their breakup, Marissa revealed they have seen each other a few times and even talked on the phone for hours one day.
“We saw each other a few times after. I took the breakup really hard, as you can imagine from the scene of me crying and stuff. It took me probably six months to get back on track and to really start to move on,” she dished. “So I saw him a few times when I was in DC, and there was one time where we talked one day for like, eight and a half, nine hours on the phone, and I thought we were gonna get back together after that.”
“So like, February or March, I did ask him if he wanted to get back together. I’m not really ashamed to say that, because I’m someone who’s like, if you feel it, you feel it, like, what’s the worst that can happen? And he’s like, “Nah.” So after that, we just stopped communication,” she added.
