Mother speaks after all four of son's alleged killers are captured: 'I'm still fighting for justice'
CARENCRO, La. (KLFY) -- All four suspects have been captured in the January murder of O'Shay Breaux, 20, of Carencro. The latest and final arrest happened this week, nearly 10 months after the killing.
While that suspect is now in custody, O'Shay Breaux's mother said she can't live at her Carencro home anymore, knowing her son took his last breaths in the driveway.
"I walk outside. It's like I can see him there. I can see the night that it happened when they killed my son," Michelle Breaux said. "That same spot where he got killed, I come outside every night, every night, and kiss that spot where y'all killed my son."
This week, Matthew Charles was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals. Jaden Garlow, Jakyri Aggison, and Koby Glaude were all previously arrested.
For O'Shay's mother, having all of the suspects in custody only brings so much peace.
"Y'all can see your families, talk to them. I can't. I can't even see my son. I have to look at his pictures just to see him to make me feel good," Michelle said.
Michelle has now faced three of the four suspects face-to-face for their pre-trial hearings, but questions remain.
"I want to know why. Why did y'all do this? That's my question," she told News 10.
"I'm still fighting for justice. I have all four of them in custody. I'm going to fight until the end. I'm going to fight until the good Lord takes me."
Matthew Charles, Jakyri Aggison and Jaden Garlow are all being held in the Lafayette Parish Jail. Koby Glaude is being held in a juvenile detention center.
