M11 completely closed for ‘police incident’ with drivers facing ‘several hours’ of delays as air ambulance attends scene
COPS have completely closed down the M11 as an air ambulance attends a “police incident”.
The motorway was shut in both directions this afternoon due to a “collision” at around 2.35pm.

Drivers have been warned the roads are shut between junction 6, heading towards M25 junction 27, and junction 5, A1168 Chigwell Lane.
Essex Police confirmed motorists can expect disruption “to last for several hours”.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We are at a collision on northbound M11, J5-6.
“The road will remain closed in both directions while we work to make the road safe.
“We expect the disruption to last for several hours.
“Drivers should check before they travel and plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience.”
They then confirmed “we’ve received reports of one person injured and no fatalities”.
