These little perks from Virgin Media are an attempt to entice shoppers over and lock them into contracts.
I’ve come across them before, and while they were something of a rarity, this is the second deal of its kind this month.
Earlier in the month, I spotted the provider offering a free Xbox or £150 bill credit.
While last month it was a free 43-inch TV or £200 bill credit up for grabs, as our deal finder Shanine Bruder reported.
That’s not to say I’m complaining, these broadband deals are a great way to get more for your money and slash those ever increasing monthly bills.
While £200 is tempting to cut costs, I have to admit, the thought of outsourcing the floor cleaning to a little robovac would seal the deal for me.
You don’t have long to decide though, the promotion is only running until October 30th.
You’ll only be able to claim these goodies on selected 18-month contracts, but there’s something for everyone in the mix.
The cheapest plan included in the lineup is the Bigger Movie Combo bundle with Sky Cinema HD for £65.99.
If you’re a movie buff like me, that’s great value for money and comes with over 200 channels, including Sky Cinema, and M125 Fibre Broadband.
The Bigger Sports HD Combo bundle gets sports lovers over 195 channels, including the all important Sky Sports with decent speeds of 516Mbps, so there should be no lag on match day.
I’d argue the best value for money is the Biggest Combo bundle, getting you over 210 channels including Sky Sport, Cinema, and basic Netflix for £84.
But if its speed you’re in need of, the Mega Volt bundle offers the best broadband speeds, though it is the priciest option at £89.99.
Then again, you’ll get Sky Sports HD, Sky Cinema HD, an O2 SIM with unlimited data and Netflix Standard with ads, so you really do get the most bang for your buck.
You’ll also enjoy ultrafast Virgin fibre broadband with average speeds of 1130Mbps, which is ideal when the all the family is competing for the Wi-Fi.
It’s always a wise move to shop around for broadband deals, as they change week on week, so don’t lock in a contract before you’ve played the field.
This month has been one of the best periods for anyone shopping for a new broadband package, with Sky also tempting new customers.
The provider is still offering its ‘lowest ever’ broadband deal that saves you £264 with no upfront fees.
