CNN anchor: Some fear Kamala Harris didn't 'close the deal' at swing state town hall
A CNN anchor told panelists on Wednesday night that some fear Vice President Kamala Harris may not have "closed the deal."
Harris fielded questions in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, from undecided voters in the area about two weeks before the election. Topics ranged from the Biden administration's record on immigration to the economy.
CNN anchor Dana Bash told fellow CNN anchors that people she's talked to feel Harris may have come up short on the night.
"If her goal was to close the deal, they're not sure she did that," said Bash. She didn't elaborate on who she'd talked to.

Bash noted that some people have questioned whether Harris is held to a different standard than former President Donald Trump.
"Maybe. But that's maybe the world that she's living in. And on the question of who she is, people are understanding that a little bit more. But what she will do — the question about her legislative priorities — 'name one.' There wasn't one."
Bash also pointed to a voter's question on her perceived weaknesses and mistakes as places where Harris may have come up short.
"Not necessarily the answers there. Having said that, any time that she can be in front of an audience and interacting with voters is a win as far as her campaign goes and they are very happy about that."
