Oklahoma man sentenced to 10 years for child abuse, neglect
GORE, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — An Oklahoma man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on Monday for abusing an infant, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Mason Wilson, 28, of Gore, was sentenced to a decade in prison for one count of child abuse in Indian Country and a decade for one count of child neglect in Indian Country.
A federal judge found Wilson guilty on both counts on June 5.
Investigators said in April 2022, Wilson injured a two-month-old baby while in his care, including fracturing multiple bones, and failed to provide medical care for the child.
The charges came from investigations by the Muskogee Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Naranjo-Aguilar will remain in custody of the U.S. Marshals pending transportation to a United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence, the release said.
