LIAM Payne’s devastated former fiancée Maya Henry says he chillingly predicted his early death by telling her mum: “I think I am not going to be around much longer.”
Maya had discussed their troubled relationship in a TikTok video last week and a podcast interview on Monday, two days before his death.
She also sent a cease and desist letter to Liam, 31, last week telling him not to contact her.
Earlier this year, Maya, 23, released a self-published book called Looking Forward, based on her relationship with Liam.

The model told YouTube podcast The Internet Is Dead on Monday: “He would always message me ever since we broke up saying, ‘I am not well’.
“He would always play with death, saying, ‘I am going to die, I am not doing well’. There was one time that I tried to get him help and he was not taking it. He would text my mum and say ‘I’m not doing well, have Maya contact me’ because I wouldn’t respond.
“For example, when I announced my book he did the same thing, he called my mum and said, ‘I think I am not going to be around much longer.’”
Liam and budding lawyer Maya first met briefly in 2015 during a One Direction meet and greet after a gig in her native Texas.
They ran into each other again in 2018 at a Dolce&Gabbana fashion show in Lake Como she was modelling for.
The couple got engaged in November 2019 — just three months after officially dating in August that year — but split in June 2021.
They later reunited and got engaged again before calling it quits for good in May 2022.
Maya called in lawyers last week after complaining that Liam refused to stop contacting her, her family including her mother Azteca and her friends.
Her lawyers said earlier this week: “Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information.”
Liam began dating US influencer Kate Cassidy, 25, in October 2022.
He had travelled to Argentina with her on September 30 to attend his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan’s gig at the Movistar Arena in capital Buenos Aires on October 2.
Liam and Kate stayed on together afterwards and spent time relaxing at a friend’s house.

In Snapchat videos shared shortly before his death, they could be seen enjoying their break in the South American country after attending Niall’s show.
Liam shared images of the food they were eating, discussed his plans to play polo and made fun of his hair.
They also jokingly boasted about how late they had been having breakfast.
Liam filmed himself saying: “It’s a lovely day here in Argentina. This is the breakfast table, just enjoying coffee and breakfast even though it’s like 1pm.”
‘Square things up’
Kate can be heard saying: “Literally we sleep in every day until at least 12, we’re such losers.”
Before travelling to Argentina, Liam had said that he was aiming to “square a couple of things up” with Niall.
He added: “No bad vibes or nothing like that but we just need to talk.”
However, Kate returned to Florida on Monday, leaving Liam alone in Buenos Aires.
Explaining her decision to return to the US, Kate said: “I was so ready to leave. I hate staying in one place for too long.
“And we were supposed to be there for, like, five days. Turned into two weeks.”
When she left, Liam checked in to the luxury CasaSur Hotel in the capital.
He went on an apparent drink and drugs bender which ended in him falling to his death from a third floor balcony on Wednesday.
He had previously apologised in 2014 for a high-rise apartment block stunt in which he was trying to imitate his superhero idol Batman.
Liam, who had a full-size figure of the Dark Knight crime-fighter in his flat, shocked fans by teetering on a 34th-floor ledge.
Then 20, he was snapped 360ft up after clambering out on to the exposed ledge despite warnings of high winds around the building, one of the tallest in London.
On that occasion, he had been partying to celebrate bandmate Zayn Malik’s 21st birthday and sheepishly told The Sun at the time: “It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry.”
And he shared an online video last year in which he giggled about being a “cat burglar”.
He told of clambering down a roof from the second storey while on tour in Peru at a time when he would “climb everything”.
