THE LOWDOWN
David Gray’s side travel to Tannadice this weekend to play newly promoted Dundee United; kick-off at 3pm on Saturday 19 October.
We come into this one off the back of a disappointing defeat to Motherwell before the international break and will be looking to make amends this weekend.
We currently sit tenth in the league table, with five points after seven fixtures – seven points adrift of Saturday’s opponents Dundee United.
THE HOSTS
Dundee United have enjoyed a solid start to their return to the Premiership. The newly promoted side have picked up 12 points and sit fifth in the league table.
The Tangerines have recorded wins over Hearts, St Johnstone and St Mirren already this season and have only lost once in the league – which was a 1-0 defeat at home to Rangers.
Our last win at Tannadice was on Boxing Day 2021, with Kevin Nisbet, Chris Cadden and Jamie Murphy all on target for the Hibees.
TEAM NEWS
The Hibees had six senior players out on international duty over the window – who will all return to HTC this week ahead of our trip to Dundee.
The international break has given the likes of Joe Newell, Martin Boyle and Nicky Cadden time to recover from their respective injuries and all three will be monitored closely. Nectar Triantis will miss this one due to suspension, whilst Kieron Bowie remains a long-term absentee.
David Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.
