When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday takes place on November 29 this year, so set your alarms because you won’t want to miss out on the deals this year.
Black Friday traditionally falls the day after Thanksgiving, which is a US celebration.
Thanksgiving is marked on the fourth Thursday in November, which means Black Friday is the fourth Friday of that month.
But, this year the calendar falls a little differently, so Black Friday is actually the fifth Friday in November.
Make sure you shop around to get the best deal on the best Black Friday sales.
You may be able to find the same product cheaper elsewhere as Chanel products are stocked on other retailers too.
But, of course, there is more meaning behind Black Friday than unmissable discounts.
Is Chanel taking part in Black Friday this year?
Based on past years, Chanel itself is unlikely to take part in Black Friday.
However, other retailers who stock Chanel are very likely to, though this is usually across the beauty and eyewear ranges, rather than fashion and handbags.
I expect to find good deals on Chanel perfume, beauty and some accessories from other retailers and department stores like Harrods, Selfridges and John Lewis that stock the premium label.

What to expect from Chanel’s Black Friday sale 2024
I anticipate plenty of discounts in this year’s Black Friday sale, though Chanel’s Black Friday deals may be more selective than other brands.
I advise you to shop around and compare prices across the numerous retailers who will be launching deals this year to ensure you don’t miss out on a better deal.
Fragrances from the designer were heavily discounted in last year’s sale, and I expect to see big savings on Chanel fragrances this year too.
John Lewis and Boots already have offers on select Chanel fragrances, but whether this will expand to include more items from the label remains to be seen.
Other beauty items were also included in previous Black Friday sales, so it’s likely that the fashion house’s popular makeup and skincare will also be discounted in November.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is Chanel taking part?
Cyber Monday falls on Monday December 2 this year.
Traditionally Cyber Monday is the day when online-only deals are available for shoppers as the sale extravaganza starts to wind down.
Cyber Monday has become an extension of the Black Friday period where shoppers can secure last minute deals.

Good news, shoppers: if you purchase directly from Chanel’s Official site, then delivery is free of charge, though I expect nothing less after splurging a fortune on the designer items.
Standard delivery typically takes two to three business days, but if you want your order sooner, you can pay £10 for Express Delivery which typically takes one to two business days.
Of course, if you are shopping Chanel from other retailers the delivery options, and cost, may vary.
Some retailers that stock the brand, such as Boots and John Lewis, also offer a Click and Collect service, which can be free over a certain amount, and worth keeping in mind if you won’t be home for delivery.
Does Chanel offer any other discounts?
Sadly not. Designer labels like Chanel are all about maintaining exclusivity and luxury status.
However, Chanel stockists like Boots, Farfetch and Liberty often have discounts available for first-time orders, while authorised resellers such as The Handbag Clinic or pre-loved luxury stores may offer Chanel products at a reduced price.
Second-hand, vintage, or re-sale stores and sites, including eBay, Vinted, and Designer Exchange, may also have pre-loved Chanel items for less.
But, if you are shopping a vintage design from another outlet, I advise you to check the authenticity of the product before investing in it.
