Caleb Foster On Duke’s Freshman Class: “Unbelievable”
This sounds good
In this article, Caleb Foster is raving about Duke’s freshman class. Check this out:
“I mean, really all of them [are exceptional]. They all bring different aspects of the game –Isaiah Evans, Darren Harris, Cooper Flagg, and the others. They pick up concepts really fast, are able to adapt, and can play in different positions, which makes them unbelievable.”
He didn't mention Kon Kneuppel by name, but everyone he has interviewed on The Brotherhood Podcast has raved about him so we know he’s promising too.
The focus has been on Cooper Flagg though and in this clip, you’ll see why people are so excited: first he drives on 7-2 fellow freshman Khaman Maluach and dunks over him. That won’t happen very often.
Then, on the other end, he does the dirty work and keeps Maluach off the boards after a teammate shoots.
It’s a small clip but incredibly telling. A talented player who is willing to do the dirty work and wants to master the finer details of the game? That guy is going places.
By the way, don’t overlook this: Maluach is going to get much, much better competing against Flagg on a daily basis. He hasn’t seen this level of talent, skill and desire until now. It’s going to hugely benefit him.
