Gregg Wallace whisks wife Anna away on holiday after investigation into ‘inappropriate sexual comments’ is revealed
GREGG Wallace has whisked wife Anna off on holiday after it was revealed he’s facing an investigation over “sexual comments” towards a female colleague at the BBC.
This week The Sun revealed how Gregg was given a warning by the BBC over making “inappropriate sexual comments” behind-the-scenes on gameshow Impossible Celebrities.
Now the Masterchef host, 59, has revealed that he and Anna, 37, have jetted off amid the controversy.
He took to Instagram to tell his followers: “No 7am live. I am away with Anna.”
Greg then shared a snap of the couple on the plane, writing: “Anna being nosy xx.”
He and fourth wife Anna tied the knot in 2016 and are parents to son Sid, four.
The incident on Impossible Celebrities in 2018 was previously unreported until someone came forward to The Sun last week.
A source told us: “The BBC took immediate action and Gregg was called in to have a meeting with them.
“He made it clear that he didn’t mean anything by what he said but he was read the riot act and told to change his behaviour.”
Yesterday Gregg’s Masterchef co-host John Torode came under fire for a comment he made towards Cat Deeley while appearing on This Morning.
During a cooking segment, John was making toad in the hole when he quipped: “I never thought I’d say to Cat Deeley, ‘Here’s a little sausage for you darling’.”
Cat, 47, made a face at the camera but wasn’t put off as she continued to present the live daytime show.
One furious viewer said:” Why is John Torode’s co-star the bald one getting in trouble for sexual innuendos when he said today live on ITV with Cat Deeley.
“Make sure he is sacked as well.. women shouldn’t put up with these disgusting sexual comments any longer… !”
