Waves about Wednesday morning
In a rush folks, so here are a few snaps from earlier today showing the fun looking swell lighting up most exposures. Wind turned ESE at noon, so it’ll get more textured, but waves should last through tomorrow morning…
Manly was busy and the high tide was making them fat and somewhat inconsistent, even so…
Swell seemed to be mostly at the south end of Curly…
Dee Why point was less consistent and weaker than the beachies
Weather Situation
South easterly flow is current in the wake of a trough of low pressure that has stalled at the northern border. Increasing northerly winds are expected to develop Wednesday as a weak ridge moves over the coast. A cold front then looks set to cross the coast between late Friday and Saturday, with a fresh westerly wind change in its wake.
