A 43-YEAR-OLD has shared how she achieves an instant face lift using one make-up product.
Lauren Hale is a professional make-up artist who teaches women the best techniques for applying products to “mature skin”.
A face lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to reduce the visible signs of ageing in the face and neck.
The primary goal is to give the face a more youthful appearance by addressing issues such as sagging skin, deep folds and wrinkles.
However, with the NHS estimating that you can pay anything from a few thousand pounds for a mini facelift to £10,000 for a fully-fledged one, they’re not an anti-ageing procedure that most of us can afford.
That’s where Lauren comes in.
The mum-of-three shared how you can achieve the same look for a fraction of the price – and without going under the knife.
She uses a light concealer to carve out her cheek bones, smile lines, cupid’s bow and temple to give the same “lifted look”.
“To brighten and lift, pick a concealer shade one to two shades lighter than your foundation colour,” Lauren instructs.
“Using a brighter concealer colour makes those areas look more plump and youthful.
“Place it in strategic places like the edge of your eye to the temple, hollow of the cheekbones and next to the nose.
“Use a brush or a piece of paper to help give you an edge and always draw the line upwards for lift.”
She shared a now-viral tutorial for her 429,000 followers on Instagram.
“That’s an amazing tip,” one commented.

What is a FULL make-up face lift?
A full make-up face includes using specific techniques to create the illusion of a lifted, more youthful face without surgery.
It’s a non-invasive approach that uses strategic application of make-up to give the appearance of firmer skin, higher cheekbones and an overall more sculpted face.
Lighter shades or highlighters are applied to the high points of the face, such as the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, center of the forehead and under the brow bone. This brightens the face and draws attention upward, creating a “lifted” effect.
To make the eyes appear more lifted, eyeliner or eyeshadow can be applied in an upward motion, especially at the outer corners. Winged eyeliner, for example, gives a more almond-shaped, lifted eye appearance.
What’s more, lifting the shape of the eyebrows by filling in the arch and brushing them upwards can enhance the overall lifted look.
Defining the lips and slightly overlining the outer corners can give the mouth a more youthful and fuller appearance, too.
