A WOMAN has revealed that she has been having an affair with her boss and after bonking in his office, things have gotten incredibly messy.
The woman explained that she feels like a schoolgirl around her boss and is ‘ashamed’ that things went to the next level whilst she was in a relationship.
Posting on social media, the anonymous woman shared her confession, leaving many open-mouthed.
Writing on the r/TrueOffMyChest thread under the username @Feeling-Sea-4263, the woman titled her post ‘I’m sleeping with my married boss and feel like a total cliche.’
The 35-year-old then revealed: “I’ve done something that I know I should be ashamed of. I’m ashamed on some level.
“I’ve done one of the most cliche things possible. I’ve been having an affair with my boss.
“I’ve never done anything like this before. I’ve never cheated on any partners and I’ve never been the affair partner of any man, as far as I’m aware.”
She explained that her boss is four years older and their affair has been going on for nine months.
She added: “I was instantly attracted to him when I met him on my first day at the company. Like, I’d never felt this level of attraction at first sight with anyone I’ve ever met.
“I was in a long term relationship at the time and he was already married. I kept my attraction to him completely to myself, but I was a full grown woman in my 30s with what felt like the most intense school girl crush of all time.
“My day to day job when I first started did not put me in regular daily contact with him.
“I was quickly promoted twice, and with each promotion I ended up working closer with him, being in more meetings and on committees with him, corresponding with him over work issues. I’m just a department manager now, not super high ranking.”
The woman confessed that they began to flirt as they got to know each other and she soon realised they had a lot in common.
She continued: “As we got to know each other there was definitely some flirting but it just seemed to be how he was. He was just a friendly, charming guy.
“We had things in common, interests and hobbies, so we always had stuff to talk about.
“Then I started to learn more about his wife from some other people at work. He never spoke badly about his wife, but through others I learned that they fought all the time, she had some mental disorders supposedly, and she’d even caused big scenes at work before I started there. I took all of that with a grain of salt. Later I learned that it was actually true.”

Whilst hearing about her boss’ wife, her own relationship ended, which is when things began to get serious at work.
She revealed: “It was around Christmas time that it started. Our offices close for a week but most people take extra PTO on either side to extend it.
“On the last day before break, there were maybe only four of us on the entire campus. He works on the floor above me. He came down and suggested we order food for delivery.
“I spent the rest of the afternoon in his office talking and laughing and then we kissed and it ended in us having sex.”

And after bonking in the office, the woman shared: “Three weeks ago I found out that I’m pregnant. I told him about two weeks ago.
“I’m in love with him. He’s the perfect man to me. I just think it’s too messy. I can’t imagine everyone finding out.
“Everyone thinks he’s sick, a great guy and I really don’t want to be part of his reputation being ruined.”
Unsure of what to do in the situation, the woman admitted: “He wants to keep the baby. He wants kids but his wife doesn’t want any.
“He feels guilty thinking about leaving his wife because she’s unstable, but he says he’ll leave her for this.
“I feel like he’d really only be leaving her for the baby because he wants that so bad, not because he loves me that much.”

They start to take their phone everywhere with them
In close relationships, it’s normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones, if their phone habits change then they may be hiding something.
Aaron says: “If your partner starts changing their passwords, starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”
“You should also look at how they place their phone down when not in use. If they face the phone with the screen facing down, then they could be hiding something.”
They start telling you less about their day
When partners cheat they can start to avoid you, this could be down to them feeling guilty or because it makes it easier for them to lie to you.
“If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you any more or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.”
“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible and it’s an easy way to get caught out,” says Aaron.
Their libido changes
Your partner’s libido can change for a range of reasons so it may not be a sure sign of cheating but it can be a red flag according to Aaron.
Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating. You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”
They become negative towards you
Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and to them, it will feel good, this can cause tension and anxiety within themselves which they will need to justify.
“To get rid of the tension they feel inside they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere. Maybe you haven’t walked the dog that day, put the dishes away or read a book to your children before bedtime. A small problem like this can now feel like a big deal and if you experience this your partner could be cheating,” warns Aaron.

Many held the same view – that the woman should cut off the affair.
One person said: “If he will cheat with you, he will cheat on you. Already shown that he has no problem cheating on his mentally ill wife instead of leaving her.”

“You might think you’re special but I wouldn’t bet everything on that if I were you. A relationship should be built on a solid foundation of trust.
“He has shattered that trust, proved to you he is capable of shattering that trust in a marriage. So I would just drop it all if I were you.”
