FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Friday afternoon!
It's another day of sunshine for Central Ohio! Temperatures are getting warmer as we head into this afternoon. Not only that, but we're in store for a taste of late summer going into the weekend. However, a big cooldown is on the way for the beginning of next week!
Winds coming out of the south will push temperatures into the mid 70s by this afternoon. Clear skies will remain steady, so there shouldn't be any issues from the weather for the beginning of Football Friday Night. Temperatures tonight will stay pretty mild, so we won't be as cool going into the start of the weekend.
Temperatures for the weekend will continue to warm up with both Saturday & Sunday reaching the mid to upper 70s. However, a cold front coming in will bring that warming trend to a very abrupt end. We'll see a few isolated showers moving Saturday night into the day on Sunday.
The cold air will settle in for the beginning of next week. Temperatures will only build into the mid to upper 50s for Monday into Wednesday. Mornings will be much cooler - lows sitting in the 30s. With some sunshine, we start to recover back to the 60s by Thursday.
