Big Brother fix row as fans claim show is ‘trying to keep controversial contestant on show’ ahead of first eviction

BIG Brother viewers have called out bosses for trying to keep one particular housemate in the compound until the final.

Chinese takeaway server Lily, 20, from Warrington, has already captured the attention of fans who are split whether they love or hate her.

The fresh reality star is the youngest contestant to appear on the show this year and viewers have accused producers of trying to keep her in.

The launch night saw the contestants divided into Housemates and Non-Housemates.

Anyone who was a Non-Housemate instantly faced the first public vote unless they managed to save themselves by proving themselves in a challenge in Big Brother‘s Battle Room.

One user wrote on Reddit: “It’s rigged so Lily won’t face eviction.”

A second agreed: “Lmao, the producers were *determined* to get Lily over to the blue side. That was predictable AF!”

A third noted: “Lily is going to be the one the producers rig to the end.”

Over on Big Brother: Late & Live, the audience and guests were also backing her and called her a ‘national treasure’ after watching her tell fellow housemates a shocking story about gambling at university.

She admitted: “After I did the first year, I realised this isn’t for me, then I realised obviously I don’t get a big fat student loan.

“So then I just re-applied to a different course, didn’t go, and gambled all my student loan. Well, one of the payments… 

“It was dead exciting. After, I just realised, I’ve just spent £2,800. 

“So then I told my mum and then she banned us off the internet [sic].

“So now I can only get scratch cards on a Saturday.”

Segun, a 25-year-old charity videographer from Watford told her: “You are a national treasure.”

Presenter Will Best agreed and told the live studio audience: “I think she’s on her way to becoming a national treasure.”

Celebrity Big Brother winner and show guest David Potts agreed: “Absolutely.”

As part of a launch night twist, the famous house was divided into Housemates and Non-Housemates.

Anyone who was a Non-Housemate instantly faced the first public vote unless they managed to save themselves by proving themselves in a challenge in BB’s Battle Room.

Now, it has been revealed that bosses have switched up the format for Friday’s looming exit.

Unlike Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, fans will be voting to evict the housemate they most want to leave the Big Brother house.

Lily had already been blasted as “loud” by housemates Sarah and Emma.

In one shocking moment, Emma even said she wanted to have Lily “bound and gagged” in order to calm her down.

Emma said to Big Brother: “Lily is very lively and I think we are all a bit tired.

“I can see a few people thinking that she should just quieten down things a bit.

“I’d like her to be gagged and bound and put in a box for a few hours.

“I have got a feeling that even Lily is going to burn out at some stage.”

Before going on the show, she revealed why she would make a good housemate and said: “I think I’ll bring good vibes because I think I’m a positive person and I bring that in my own house so I could bring that to another house!”

Describing herself, Lily said: “That “I do actually have a soft side.

“I’m dead chatty but there is a soft side.”
