Amazon shoppers race to nab ‘game changer’ household essential slashed to £15 in Prime Day sale
AMAZON has slashed the price of a household essential by a massive 63% in its Prime Big Deal Days Sale.
The sale happens each October and is commonly referred to as a second Prime Day. As always, this year has seen huge discounts pop up across the retailer’s site.

While there are attractive deals on big-ticket items such as robot vacuum cleaners and TVs, the sale is also one of the best opportunities of the year to score big discounts on essential (but admittedly unglamorous) household items.
One such deal is on Finish Ultimate Plus Infinity Shine Dishwasher tablets, which have been discounted from £41 to as low as £14.99.
The discount represents a saving of almost two-thirds.
The specific price of the tablets has fluctuated over the course of the day, however; at around midday the price rose to around £21, but at the time of writing the price had fallen back down to £14.99.
We’d recommend taking advantage of this deal quickly, in case the price rises again.
This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen this listing at; during Black Friday 2023 we saw the price of the tablets drop to around £17, but this is the first time it’s dipped below £15.
The £14.99 deal price means that each individual tablet would cost just 14p, compared to 39p at full price.
Reviewers have called the tablets a “game changer”, with one writing: “These tablets deliver impressive cleaning power, tackling even the toughest grease and food residue, while leaving glassware and silverware gleaming with a mirror-like shine.”
They continued: “The 105-pack is great value, lasting for months of regular use. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in water spots and cloudiness compared to other brands.”
