I begged for a face lift from the age of 30 & got savaged for paying £34k for a 9-hour op at 34 – but it’s so worth it
A MUM has revealed she desperately ‘’begged’’ a surgeon for a face lift when she was just 34 years old.
Blonde beauty Ashley Stobart, from Hale, is better known to her fans as one of the hosts of the Nip Tuck podcast alongside pal Lauren Harris.
The bubbly duo recently appeared on Love Island star Olivia Attwood’s podcast So Wrong It’s Right to discuss everything – from co-parenting and being a single mum, to the cosmetic procedures they’ve undergone, including her Ashley’s obsession with a more youthful glow.
Speaking on the podcast, reality TV star Olivia, 33, said: “Ashley, let’s talk about the face lift because I know people will be obsessed with this.
Three months ago you had a full face lift […] People are going to be like, what the f***, she’s 34, this is insane.”
Dubbing Ashley’s decision to go under the knife at 34 ‘‘extreme’’, Olivia wanted to know what made the stunner opt for the dramatic surgery.
Ashley explained: “Honestly, from years of filling, dissolving, filling, dissolving, treating, the new s***, all this, I just had lost definition in my face.
”I didn’t look like me anymore because I’d been filled up, put back in.
”Obviously, I was pregnant a number of times in a short period of time.
”And when you have got fillers and you’re pregnant, fillers hold on to water.
”So my face was like… massive. And then I had this double chin, which was not a good look.
”So yeah, I just was like, I need a facelift and I went and had one.”
Spilling the beans on her journey, the beauty buff revealed that it wasn’t as straightforward as she may have hoped to.
Chatting on the episode, she recalled getting repeatedly ‘‘rejected’’ by a surgeon, who she emailed annually but was refused treatment because of her age.
Ashley chuckled: “The person that we talked about before, yeah. Every year I used to send him an email – ‘please?’
“No try again next year. No try again next year. So it went on for four years.

2018 – Katie went under the knife yet again for a facelift
2019 – After jetting to Turkey, Katie had a face, eye and eyelid lift, Brazilian bum lift and a tummy tuck
2020 – Katie has her 12th boob job in Belgium to correct botched surgery and a new set of veneers
2021 – In a complete body overhaul, she opts for eye and lip lifts, liposuction under her chin, fat injected into her bum and full body liposuction
2022 – Katie undergoes another brow and eye lift-and undergoes ‘biggest ever’ boob job in Belgium, her 16th in total
2023 – Opting for a second rhinoplasty, Katie also gets a lip lift at the same time as well as new lip filler throughout the year
2024 – Katie has her 17th boob job in Brussels after revealing she wanted to downsize. She performed at Dublin Pride just days later and surgeons warned the lack of recovery posed a risk of infection
”And then he finally went, yeah, all right then. So I was like, okay, great.
”And his prices had quadrupled in the four years. So he’s starting at like £60,000 or something now.”
Luckily for the young woman, one of her pals then recommended a plastic surgeon who’d done her face for way ”cheaper” – and the results were ”unbelievable”.
”So she gave me the name of this guy who was half that price.”

In the end, the blonde fashionista had a staggering 4cm removed from each side of her face, making for a more snatched appearance.
”I’m really happy with it,” said Ashley, before revealing the minimal scarring around her ears.
During the nine-hour op, the mum added, they were squeezing all the ”green” filler out ”for hours”.
The pricey face lift hasn’t come without its criticism by trolls and haters – but none of that bothers Ashley.
”It’s my money […], so I decided to go and be very well-informed on my decision and do it very safely.
”It just needs to stop – all this taking the p*ss out of women.”
