I’m a vet and there’s five dog breeds that terrify even us pros – people are stunned a family favourite made the list
A VET has revealed the five breeds of dog that leave him shaking in his boots.
Amir Anwary took to social media, shared the list with his followers – and it led to a heated debate.
Amir the vet shared five dog breeds that scare him[/caption] The family-favourite Cocker Spaniel also made it onto the list[/caption]The vet listed five of the dog breeds he and his staff are scared of and kicked things off with the Chow Chow.
Originally from China, this giant breed was once used as guard dogs during the Han Dynasty 2000 years ago.
These fluffy dogs are known to be independent in nature but can try to assert dominance if they haven’t been properly trained, says Hillspet.
Not only that, they can become very protective of themselves and their family which could be why vets like Dr Amir are wary of them.
The vet also put Cocker Spaniels on the list of dogs he and his staff are scared of.
While this breed is usually a family favourite dog, Amir clearly thought differently.
They are known to have a happy temperament however can be prone to sudden bursts of aggression which come out of nowhere.
The issue is so common it even has it’s own name Spaniel Rage or Cocker Rage.
Rottweilers were also put on the list.
These giant breeds are often used as security or protection dogs, but can be total softies when they are trained properly.
Small and mighty – the Chihuahua also made it onto the list of scary breeds.
What they lack in height they make up for in attitude, and these tiny dogs are prone to behaviour problems when they aren’t trained.
Some issues in these small dogs include separation anxiety, begging and even biting.
Amir then revealed the last dog on his list, the Belgian Malinois.
