The Mets are onto Philadelphia after beating the Milwaukee Brewers two games to one in the Wild Card round, a series capped by Pete Alonso’s signature moment as a Met.
The roster for the National League Division Series looks similar outside of two additions—including one shocking one announced at Carlos Mendoza‘s Friday press conference.

Rotation (6)
Kodai Senga (still surprised about this) and Tylor Megill are on the NLDS roster. Megill wasn’t on the Wild Card roster because he pitched Monday, and Senga has been hurt all season outside of one game. Now, Senga will start Game 1. Madness.Bullpen (9)
To get Senga and Megill onto the roster, the Mets dropped Max Kranick and Huascar Brazoban from the Wild Card round. Now, some mix of Megill and Peterson will likely pitch out of the bullpen at points—especially during Game 1 to follow Senga. We’ll see how the Mets use their best pitchers after a stressful three games to make it here. The post Mets Announce 2024 NLDS Roster appeared first on Metsmerized Online.
