Man shot while sitting on bench in Manhattan: NYPD
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An innocent bystander was shot while sitting on a bench in Manhattan on Thursday, according to the NYPD.
It happened on West 153rd Street in Harlem around 11 p.m. The 20-year-old victim was on the bench when he heard gunshots and suddenly felt pain, police said.
The man was shot once in the right arm and once in the back.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. His condition was not disclosed.
No arrests have been made.
