After another three points in the Champions League in midweek, Liverpool are looking to increase their lead in the Premier League with a win here.

The Reds hit the top last week when Man City slipped up at Newcastle and they’ll be hoping to move four points clear ahead of the rest of the weekend’s action.

Since that disappointing defeat to Nottingham Forest – the only game Arne Slot hasn’t won in charge – Liverpool have won five on the spin and scored 15 goals in the process.

They have the meanest defence in the division having only conceded twice in their six games and only Chelsea and Man City have scored more.

Their last defeat at Selhurst Park was back in 2014 and they’ve won all but one of their visits there since.

But Palace have a decent recent record against Liverpool, only losing one of the last four meetings and winning 1-0 at Anfield in their last meeting.

However, Crystal Palace are currently in the bottom three with just three points after six games, though their five-game unbeaten run came to an end at Everton last week.
