Who is the woman behind home plate at Brewers games? Meet 'Front Row Amy'
There’s a group of MLB fans that are known nationally (like Marlins Man!), and for the Milwaukee Brewers, that’s Amy Williams of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
She has a nickname, too: Front Row Amy, and per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, she’s been a fan of the team since 2007 and has been seen keeping score from her seat behind home plate.
“She found that going to games made her feel like she was part of something big, and she learned that she enjoyed it most when she went alone, retired Journal Sentinel columnist Jim Stingl wrote in 2012,” wrote the paper’s Claire Reid.
So there’s your answer!
On the drive home tonight, I was thinking about all the special moments the Brewers have given us this season. SO MANY! And I can only hope that the Baseball Gods have been paying attention and that they will smile upon this team in WC#3. #LFG #Undaunted #ThisIsMyCrew
