Andrew Garfield Reveals If He'd Play Spider-Man Again, Says 'No Way Home' Cameo Was 'Healing'
Is Andrew Garfield interested in swinging in to save the day as Spider-Man again?
The 41-year-old actor famously suited up as the web-slinging hero in 2012′s The Amazing Spider-Man. He reprised the role in a 2014 sequel and then made a cameo alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire‘s Spider-Men in 2021′s No Way Home.
In a new interview, he explained how the latest movie was “really healing” for him and revealed if he would ever play the character again.

Speaking to Esquire, Andrew said that he was definitely open to playing the classic hero again.
“For sure, I would 100 percent come back if it was the right thing, if it’s additive to the culture, if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before that’s unique and odd and exciting and that you can sink your teeth into,” he explained. “I love that character, and it brings joy. If part of what I bring is joy, then I’m joyful in return.”
Andrew added that his role in No Way Home “was really healing for me” after a third Amazing Spider-Man movie was cancelled, leaving him “dangling” for years.
The actor also shared some insight into his love life.
