Castleton-on-Hudson man accused of having child sex abuse images
CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police reported the arrest of a Castleton-on-Hudson man following a sex crime investigation. Brayden Ayer, 20, is facing multiple felony charges.
According to state police, Ayer is accused of having and distributing images depicting the sexual exploitation of a child. He was taken into custody on September 27 after law enforcement executed a search warrant at his Castleton-on-Hudson home.
Ayer was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned at the Schodack Town Court before being remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
