Nothing doing this morning
Hello Friends,
Give it a miss everyone. On a cloudy Wednesday morning, 11-16 kts of SSE wind was smashing a 1.8 metre, 8-second SSE swell and from the look of the Bureau’s forecast, we’re in for at least a couple of days of this stuff yet. With any luck, we’ll be seeing better wind conditions and a fresh south pulse filling in for the weekend. And, the long range swell forecast models are currently looking reasonably hopeful for this time next week…
Go well with your Wednesday!
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Bass Strait will shift over the Tasman Sea and produce a firm ridge and persistent south to southeasterly flow over the next few days. The winds will then turn northerly later this week ahead of a cold front that looks set to cross the region on Saturday, with winds turning westerly in its wake late Saturday or during Sunday.
