Arsenal return to the Champions League following their pulsating 4-2 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Gunners looked to be on course for a straightforward and routine win before conceding twice to the promoted side, who then held firm until the 94th minute!

The Gunners eventually got it over the line but manager Mikel Arteta will want to see a more ruthless approach from his side moving forward.

A tougher test awaits against French champions PSG, although Arsenal should feel confident given they are unbeaten at the Emirates since January (W12, D2).

They are also unbeaten in their previous four meetings with PSG in European competition. The French side have played more games against the Gunners without winning (4) than against any other opponent in European competition.

It’s been a good start to the 2024-25 campaign for this new-look PSG outfit, who’ve won five of their six Ligue 1 matches and beat Girona in the Champions League.

Luis Enrique’s side are unbeaten this season, although they have lost each of their last three away games against English sides in the Champions League. They’ve also only managed two clean sheets in seven competitive outings.

Saka returns

The price isn’t overly generous, but Bukayo Saka to score or assist looks likely on Tuesday. The England international, 23, has started the season with one goal and five assists in eight matches.

He’s also something of a Champions League specialist — at home at least. Saka has been directly involved in seven goals in five Champions League appearances at the Emirates Stadium with four goals and three assists.

Both Arsenal and PSG have leaked goals lately.

The hosts have conceded five in their last three in all competitions, while visitors PSG haven’t registered a clean sheet away from home in any of their last six in all competitions.
