Penguins announce two game rosters for the weekend
Preseason action is here!
The Penguins gear up for a busy weekend with evening games in Detroit and then in Sudbury, Ontario on Saturday and Sunday. The team has released the rosters:

Below is the Penguins’ lineup for Saturday night’s preseason game against the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM ET and the game will be available via stream on nhl.com/penguins. Fans can also tune into both games on the Penguins’ official flagship radio station, 105.9 ‘The X’.

Sudbury is getting the stars for what will be the preseason debuts of the top healthy players on the team. Tristan Jarry will be busy being active for both games, though it remains to be seen what his workload will be on either night.
Top prospects Owen Pickering and Rutger McGroarty will be joining Jarry in both rosters, as will Boko Imama. As far as young players go, it’s also interesting to see Harrison Brunicke was at least selected to join the very NHL looking lineup on Sunday.
NHL Network will carry the game on Sunday.
After this weekend, the Pens have three more exhibition games next week to gear up for the regular season opener on October 9th.
