Palestine
Does not exist. It has never existed.
The Romans, to insult the Jews, renamed Judea, a province within the "Roman Empire" Palestinia, which is Latin for the nation the Philistines came from. Goliath was a Philistine and lost his one-on-one fight with David, as most of you know . The Jews, the Israelites, had wars with the Philistines, and the Romans, knowing this history, wanted to tweak the Jews.
If you think, nah, there was a Palestine, okay...what is the Palestinian language? Show me books, documents, songs written in Palestinian. Name a king, queen, emperor who once ruled over this historic Palestine. Good luck finding something that doesn't exist.
The Jews occupied Israel, were kicked out by the Romans, and returned 700 years later. When did Arabs first occupy the land now known as Israel, and Jordan, parts of Syria and Lebanon? The answer: 2,200 years AFTER the Israelites (Jews) first lived there.
Two western powers are responsible for the mess that now exists in the Middle East, specifically with Israel and the Jews' rightful claim to it: the Romans and the British. The British brokered the deal that created modern-day Jordan in 1946, allowing the Hashemites to return from exile and assume leadership/ownership of the land now called Jordan.
Today, what is Israel represents 12% of the lands occupied by the Romans in the region, and to which the modern-day "Palestinians" stake their claim. But, why is it ONLY the 12% now occupied by the Jews is the focus for creating a "Palestine" and not any of the other 88%? We all know why.
