Hotel Topeka to host Halloween costume party, rodeo dance hall events
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topekans are invited to come down to a hotel near the downtown area for several dance hall events this fall.
City of Topeka spokesman Dan Garrett said in a press release that a Halloween costume party and two country-themed dance halls will be coming to Hotel Topeka in late October and early November. The costume party will feature a DJ, costume contest, door prizes and more.
People who are over the age of 18 can participate with a cash bar available to those who are 21-years-old or older. All participants are encouraged to wear costumes.
Garrett said once the Halloween festivities are finished, two rodeo after-parties will be held on Nov. 1-2. People can expect to find live music, door prizes and the chance to dance to country tunes for two nights. Participants will need to be over the age of 18 to attend.
- Halloween costume party - Oct. 31.
- Rodeo after party - Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.
- Venue - Hotel Topeka at 1717 Southwest Topeka Boulevard.
"We are incredibly excited to showcase Hotel Topeka through these dance hall events," said City Manager Robert Perez. "It's a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate in one of our city's premier venues."
