Watch: Crowd laughs at Trump after Kamala Harris brings up his debate performance
It has been a little over a week since former President Donald Trump faced off against Vice President Kamala Harris in their first, and possibly only debate. During a Georgia rally, Harris-supporter were still laughing at Trump's widely-panned performance.
Harris brought up the mother and sisters of Amber Thurman, who died after Georgia's strict restrictions on abortion took effect, which was ushered in after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The official Georgia committee ruled that Thurman's death was preventable.
Harris asked her audience to repeat Thurman's name out loud.

"He brags about overturning Roe v. Wade. In his own words, 'I did it, and I'm proud to have done it,' he says," Harris recalled. "He is proud, proud that women are dying. Proud that doctors and nurses could be thrown in prison for administering care? Proud that young women today have fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers? How dare he. How dare he."
She then briefly mentioned the debate. It changed the solemn mood into one of laughter and applause.
"Well, that was fun," she said to more cheers. "And I know everyone here paid attention to the words, though, the words, right? I'm trying to get another debate. We'll see," said Harris.
"But in our debate last week, remember when he said everyone wanted Roe v. Wade to be overturned? Well, exactly. I don't know where 'everyone' is either, but women have been arrested and charged for miscarriages. They didn't want that. I was speaking with a physician who was here who has, in her professional experience, been administering care to girls, and what we know is that 12 and 13-year-old survivors of assault are being forced to carry a pregnancy to term. They didn't want this."
