FANS of mince pies rejoice, Aldi has announced it will launch the festive treats early.
With less than 100 days to go until Christmas, the first mince pies of the season will hit stores on Sunday September, 22.
Fans of the sweet treat can celebrate early and pick up a pack of the Holly Lane Deep Filled Mince Pies for just £1.39 (6 pack) — that’s 23p per pie.
The shortcrust pastry cases are filled with mincemeat and topped with a light dusting of sugar.
Eager pie-oneers can also grab Aldi’s Holly Lane Iced Mince Pies (£1.59, 6 pack) made with deliciously golden shortcrust pastry cases filled with mincemeat and topped with icing.
And for those after a taste of luxury, the Specially Selected All Butter Mince Pies (£2.29, 6 pack) are filled with rich, delicious mincemeat and infused with port and cognac.
Savvy shoppers can enjoy their mince pies warmed up with a dollop of cream or as a quick bite straight out of the pack.
The rest of Aldi’s mince pie range will be available in stores in November including irresistible varieties for all taste buds.

Aldi isn’t the only supermarket getting into the Christmas spirit.
Iceland has revealed its Christmas 2024 range and it includes a pigs in blankets Yorkshire pudding.
Luckily, Iceland has unveiled its Christmas menu which will be available in stores and online from November 12.
The items will also be available to buy at Iceland’s The Food Warehouse.
Iceland‘s menu this year offers customers everything they’ll need for Christmas lunch or dinner, but there are some quirky items included as well in case you’re after something a bit different.
Shoppers will be able to feast on mini fish, chip and ketchup sarnies, prawn tacos and an unbelievable XXL pigs in blankets Yorkshire pudding.
The supermarket is also launching battered lobster tails, mini garlic and herb kievs and even some exclusive brands items like Harry Ramsden’s battered mini sausages.
