Alasdair Gold confirms injured Tottenham striker is now back in training
Alasdair Gold confirms that Will Lankshear has recovered from his injury and is back to full training.
Spurs have been short on strikers
Ange Postecoglou has had to deal with few injuries to the forward line at the start of the season, with record signing Dominic Solanke missing the games against Everton and Newcastle with an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, Richarlison continues to be sidelined and there has not been any official confirmation regarding his expected return date.
To make matters worse, Postecoglou has also not been able to turn to Lankshear, who has been nursing a hamstring injury since the start of the campaign.
Will Lankshear is back in training
However, Gold has now confirmed that the 19-year-old has now fully overcome that problem and is now training with his teammates.
The centre-forward impressed in pre-season and Postecoglou has spoken very highly of the youngster on a few occasions over recent months.
With Tottenham’s Europa League campaign about to start next week, Lanskhear might soon be set for his senior debut for the club.

The fact that Spurs decided against loaning out Lankshear suggests that Ange feels he is ready to contribute to the first team. I would not be surprised if we see the 19-year-old make the starting lineup for the clash against Qarabag next Thursday.
