MAFS UK fans were left shocked after Caspar Todd revealed his ‘real age’ – and claimed he looks twenty years older.
The gardener tied the knot with Emma Barnes during Monday night’s instalment of the E4 show.
Caspar and Emma met for the first time while walking down the aisle – and while Emma was happy with her new husband, it looked like he didn’t really feel the same.
He said that his new wife reminded him of his twin sister Daisy – and also told Emma’s sister who they have clashed in the past.
Some viewers have taken to X, formerly known Twitter, to say the same thing about Caspar.
Many are shocked at how old he is.
One wrote on the social media platform: “#mafsuk I can’t believe Casper (Caspar) is only 34. He looks at least 50.“
Another chimed in: “Caspar is not 34.”
“For a 34 year old grown man, it’s incredible how naive he seems to be about the whole thing. It’s not called “Love at First Sight” Caspar FFS, give your relationship a chance!,” a third added.
Last night Caspar shocked his new bride with a savage insult after revealing that he was missing sexual attraction.
During a chat, Emma told her man that she had a fabulous day, but Caspar wasn’t feeling the same.
Caspar said: “I’ve been struggling, I don’t know if you’ve felt it. But I haven’t felt that spark I was hoping to feel.”
He then explained that similar characteristics that she has with his sister.
Caspar said: “Watching you and her laugh together, there’s an element and sort of mannerisms – I’m equating one with the other and it’s not good.”
Emma then asked Caspar what his usual type is and told her he wouldn’t usually go for a “curvier” girl.
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
She replies: “Do you think I look sexy tonight?”
A panicked Caspar is left breathing heavily as Emma asks: “But you don’t think I’m sexy?”
Caspar bluntly replies: “No.”
Emma went on: “So you didn’t fancy me and you don’t fancy me, right?”
“Not currently no, lets be honest,” Caspar admits.
Emma hits back and issued him some advice – saying he needs to work on his own outlook before judging women on their appearance.
She responds: “If you didn’t think I was sexy in my f***ing wedding dress and my gorgeous bikini today, I don’t know what hope there is.”
Clearly astonished by his comment, she put him in his place by saying: “But what we’re here to do is look beyond that and what you need to do is look beyond that because my personality, my confidence should help you be more confident and you should see qualities bigger than my clothes size.
“You need to work on your view of women.”
The previous night Emma was left sobbing when Caspar told her that he wasn’t attracted to her.
In one scene Emma told Caspar: “I’m a size 14. I’m not a f***ing monster.”
She later spoke to camera and said: “It’s a shame that I’m not attractive to the person I’ve married.”
Caspar added to the camera: “I want love and it’s nowhere f***ing close.”
The gardener pretty much made it clear from the start that he wasn’t into Emma.
He was labelled a red flag after he clashed with his sister during the first episode.
Caspar told the camera: “Emma is full of energy, big smile, really big laugh, beautiful dazzling woman….but if I’m being completely honest, she very much reminds me of my sister… who I hate.
“Daisy’s the only person in my life who drives me around the f**king bend.
“She’s the one person in my life who, if you want to see me angry, it can take her under 30 seconds to drive me up the wall.”
During a conversation with his mum and sister he confessed he didn’t want to rip her clothes off.
Daisy replied: “Don’t say that out loud. Don’t do that to her.”
Frustrated, Caspar hit back: “Daisy, I’m not going to say it. F**k sake. I’m trying to talk to you. Just back off.”
