Fox News host floats new Trump-related conspiracy theory about Sean 'Diddy' Combs arrest
Fox host Maria Bartiromo told her show on Wednesday that the arrest of rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was really about Donald Trump.
According to Bartiromo, the only reason Combs was arrested this week was to pull attention away from Donald Trump's second would-be assassin. On Sunday, the Secret Service fired on a man pointing his AK-47 through the bushes oat Trump's Palm Beach gold club. The club has a lot more access to it than other Trump clubs, with busy streets on the sides.
The man, identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, was never able to fire a shot before the Secret Service scared him off. Still, this news was so significant that Bartiromo was flabbergasted by the 24 hour media cycle turning to another story 48 hours later.

"Don't you find it ironic, Miranda, that once again they take that same strategy out and that is change the conversation?" Bartiromo asked Australian columnist Miranda Devine.
"The timing of the P. Diddy arrest? Please. They must have had the P. Diddy arrest on the shelf waiting to take it off the shelf for when they needed it," she alleged of the three-count indictment against the rapper, which includes an extensive racketeering operation.
"And yesterday, boy, oh boy did they need it because the questions were spiking everywhere as far as how it is possible that another assassination attempt happened, that another would be assassin was within a couple of hundred yards of President Trump," claimed Bartiromo.
"As we're all asking these questions, boom, they take P. Diddy in and now we're all talking about that, take it off the front page. This [is the] strategy over and over again. I saw right through it as soon as it happened," she said.
Devine confessed she hadn't thought of that but concluded Bartiromo was exactly right.
