It comes after the furniture restorer was last week charged with controlling and coercive behaviour towards his wife.
Blades appeared at a separate court on Friday accused of physical and emotional abuse of estranged wife Lisa Zbozen, 43.
His future on The Repair Shop now appears to be up in the air following the charge.
A BBC insider said: “The Beeb won’t feature any new shows in which he appears until it is clear how legal proceedings conclude.”
Blades married personal trainer Lisa in a small ceremony in Barbados in November 2022.
She announced she had left the star on May 2 as police launched an investigation.
Blades has previously spoken out about his troubled childhood after growing up in poverty.
The star’s mum was abandoned by his dad when he was a youngster.
Blades ended up homeless in his 20s before being given social housing but has since gone on to carve out a successful career in TV.
The dad-of-three was awarded an MBE in 2021 and filmed a special episode of Repair Shop last year with King Charles.
