Deputies arrest 3 during drug investigation
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office arrested three people Monday while conducting a drug investigation. The arrests took place around 10:20 a.m. in the area of Central Avenue and Ontario Street in the city of Albany.
Deputies were checking a car as part of their investigation. Three people were inside the vehicle as well as several drugs.
Police said David Matthews, 35, of Watervliet, was in possession of cocaine, meth, and fentanyl-pressed pills. He was charged with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Alyssa Bolden, 37, of Colonie, was found in possession of cocaine and meth. She was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Janelle Carrigan, 32, of Troy, was also in the vehicle. Police said she had an active warrant out of the town of Colonie for a robbery charge. She was turned over to Colonie police.
