Loose Women star launches blistering attack on ‘horrible’ celebrities who ‘nobody likes working with’
LOOSE Women star Frankie Bridge has launched a blistering attack on “horrible celebrities” in the showbiz industry.
The Saturdays singer, 35, revealed that there are people she has come across saying “nobody likes working with”.
Frankie lifted the lid during a conversation with former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews on his Big Fish podcast.
The discussed how important it is that you are “easy to work with” in an industry full of big characters.
Spencer said: “Some people have reputations for being really horrible people and I’ve always found it incredibly odd that people would continue to work with horrible people.”
Frankie shared: “I think that’s been one of my biggest things over the years, is that I’ve met a lot of those people.”
The pop star, who first started her career in S Club Junior back in 2001, said she was given a piece of valuable advice from her former music artist Simon Fuller in the early days of her career that “stuck”.
She recalled: “I remember when I finished with S Club Juniors, Simon Fuller said to me, ‘Always continue to be good to work with, like you are, because everyone’s always going to then continue to want to work with you,’ and it really stuck with me.”
Frankie then admitted that there are people in the industry that are disliked and “hated” – but did not reveal names.
She said: “I’ve had moments throughout my career… you know, you always say the good guy comes out on top, and I think as I got older, I was like, ‘That’s not actually necessarily true,’ and it really p****d me off.
“I’ve sat at awards ceremonies knowing that there’s people winning these awards that everyone in the room hates working with, and they get up and they spout this speech about loving everyone, and being kind, and all that b******t and I’m like, ‘You’re lying! Everyone in here hates you!’
“Yet they’re all standing up clapping and going, ‘Yeah!’, and posting about it, and I think that’s what helps me as well, because I know the b******t.’
Frankie went on to say that she does not “buy into” the fakeness of some individuals, but also insisted that she’s “aware” of two-faced people in the industry, which has kept her grounded.
It comes just days after Frankie revealed she’d landed a role in a huge film – confessing it’s a “bucket list moment”.
She told fans she has voiced the part of Snowdown the Goose in the upcoming Dreamworks movie The Wild Robot, which stars huge names including Lupita Nyong’o and Pedro Pascal.
Frankie shared a series of snaps showing her recording her part at the studio.
She wrote: “Today was a real bucket list moment!
“I got to be the voice of Snowdown the goose in The Wild Robot!! I had SO much fun! I can’t wait for you all to meet her. Even more excited to show the kids! Make sure you watch October 18th!”
