Police investigate crash eastbound on Menands Bridge
UPDATE: All traffic lanes reopened around 4:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- All eastbound lanes of traffic on the Troy-Menands Bridge were closed on Saturday afternoon due to a crash. Police said the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. and no severe injuries were reported.
According to Troy Police Department Assistant Chief Steven Barker, a commercial truck carrying water was involved in the crash. Barker added that police are on the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
The intersection will remain closed until later in the afternoon. Stick with NEWS10 as more information becomes available.
