‘It’s giving adult school uniform’ shoppers scream as they’re left divided over Primark’s new Rita Ora collection
SHOPPERS have been divided over Rita Ora’s latest Primark collection which has been compared to a school uniform.
The ‘Lazy Daze’ autumn range dropped in stores across the country on Tuesday with items starting from just £3.
Offering old school vibes with new school attitude, it features classic, preppy pieces for the modern trendsetter.
Speaking excitedly about the new arrivals, Anywhere singer Rita, 33, said: “So proud and excited that my latest collection with Primark is available now!
“Each of these collections excites me more than the last.
“I’ve spent the last year really curating a range of timeless trending and hero pieces to suit every season.
“This one is giving preppy, it’s giving Clueless, it’s giving eclectic Grandpa.”
Primark bosses added: “Rita’s style school has arrived! The best part? No exams, just first-class fashion for AW24 and beyond.”
The collection includes a £22 buckle pleated midi skirt with a check design, a £14 oversized polo sweatshirt and a pleated mini skirt for £14.
There’s also a variety of knitted vests for the “grandpacore” look.

Think nostalgic, retro and gender-neutral pieces with a comfort-first approach.
Primark stores across the country – including Edinburgh and Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street – have been sharing clips of the autumn collection in stores on social media.
And shoppers are giving the singer’s autumn pieces top marks.
One gushed: “I think this has been her best collection so far. I actually really like most of it.”
A second wrote: “Really targeted at high school girls I think. But I like some of the pieces, like the ankle boots and the blazers.”
A third echoed: “It’s giving adult school uniforms.”
A fourth exclaimed: “Could this be the collection that actually sells???”
“This looks like the only drop of hers I’ll be buying”, chimed in a fifth.
Meanwhile, a sixth added: “Oooo miss Rita said I’m not playing anymore I heard you all.”
Others, however, don’t think the new collection is top of the class.
“It all will be on sale soon for £5”, joked one person.
Someone else insisted: “Rita Ora would never wear this.”
“Rita Ora … the ting flopped”, sighed another.
And a sixth sighed: “Rita Ora’s collections are so random.”
Rita Ora released her debut Primark collection in September last year, allowing fashion fans to shop her “famous style for less”.
Her latest autumn range marks her fifth collaboration with the high street giant.
