‘I buy one every year’ shoppers race to M&S to get their hands on the ‘perfect’ lightweight summer dress
SHOPPERS are racing to Marks & Spencer’s to get their hands on the ‘perfect’ lightweight summer dress.
Some fashion fans are even heading out to get themselves a duplicate of what they already own.
The summer dress, which costs £25, is so popular because it “fits a treat” and is also purse-friendly too.
The M&S Collection Jersey Round Neck Midi T-Shirt Dress can be dressed up or down and styled with sandals or trainers.
Fashion fans insist the dress is “so comfortable and washes so well,” which may be why they “buy one every year.”
It comes in black, green and dark red, and falls just below the knee.
The Marks & Spencer’s website says it is “made in a regular fit from comfy jersey.”
The dress is complete with short sleeves, “making it ideal for warmer weather.”
It is part of the supermarket’s easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.
Fashion fans who have purchased the dress, which is available in sizes 6 to 24, say the dress is great because it “doesn’t cling” to your body.
And it’s proving extremely popular amongst shoppers, as the dress has an overall 4.5 star rating, with 70 per cent recommending the product.
Many have rated it ‘excellent’ on quality, comfort, and value for money.
One impressed M&S shopper said of the Jersey Round Neck Midi T-Shirt Dress: “Lovely material and very comfortable with a fairly loose fit that didn’t cling to the bottom or stomach or thighs.”
Another added: “Fitted a treat, so much so I bought the black, black and white print, animal print and the blue floral. Easy to dress up or down.
“Comfy to wear. Pleased with my purchases.”
A third said: “The dress is a perfect fit and very comfortable and stylish.”
Whilst a fourth wrote: “Love this dress, buy one every year because they are so comfortable to wear and wash so well.
