Julia Roberts shares steamy pic to mark 22nd anniversary with husband Danny Moder
The Fourth of July is especially important to Julia Roberts, as it's also the day she tied the knot with husband Danny Moder.
This year, she marked their anniversary by posting a photo to her Instagram page of her and Moder sharing a smooch.
"????♂️ ????♀️ ???????? ???????? ???? ???????? TWENTY TWO YEARS," she captioned the post, alongside a string of black heart emoji.
The couple also received well wishes in the comments from other celebrities, like Rita Wilson, who is married to Tom Hanks.
"Lovers!!!!! Happiest of days to you both!!!! ????????," she wrote.
Roberts also previously shared a cute pic of her and Moder in honor of Valentine's Day.
The "Pretty Woman" star has made it a habit to share photos of her and Moder, who tied the knot in 2002, sharing sweet kisses.
She captioned the image, "My Forever Valentine," and added heart and lightning bolt emoji along with the letters "ysb."
The Oscar winner has starred in a lot of rom-coms throughout her career, but it seems her greatest love story has been her own.
The "Runaway Bride" star, 56, gushed about her love for Moder, 55, during a December 2023 interview with TODAY's Hoda Kotb about her film with Mahershala Ali called "Leave the World Behind."
"Well, it all starts with Danny Moder, you know?" Roberts told Hoda. "He’s just really our anchor and our person. And in the most beautiful way, the captain of our ship, you know, truly."
“And it’s not, like, giving it all away to him,” she added. “It’s just that for me, understanding how deeply felt life could be really started with him.”

Moder and Roberts met on a movie set
The “Notting Hill” star and her husband met on the set of “The Mexican” in 2000.
Moder was working as a cameraman on the movie, while Roberts co-starred in the film alongside Brad Pitt and James Gandolfini.
Roberts opened up about how she and Moder connected despite their very different roles on set.
"On the set, I get pretty relaxed. These guys see me at five in the morning, when I come stumbling onto the set like, 'What the hell is goin’ on?'" Roberts said in an interview with O, The Oprah Magazine in 2003. "In those circumstances, you can see what a person’s really made of. Some great friendships can be formed because you see one another at your best and worst."
She also said she and Moder were friends "for a really long time" before anything else happened between them.
"I could see how wonderful he was, but we were both in relationships at the time, so we were just friends," she said.
When they met, Moder was married to makeup artist Vera Steimberg, and Roberts was in a relationship with actor Benjamin Bratt.
As Roberts told Oprah Winfrey in 2003, she and Moder had already separated from their former partners before romance bloomed between them.
"He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me," she said. "And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. I think that’s the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together."
Moder is an Emmy-nominated cinematographer
Moder began his career as a production assistant and went on to work as a cinematographer in films and TV series including “Fireflies in the Garden,” “Highland Park” and “The Last Tycoon.”
He earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding cinematography for a miniseries or movie for his work in the 2014 drama, “The Normal Heart,” which co-starred Roberts.
While Moder doesn’t seem to give many public interviews about his work, he posts about his projects occasionally on Instagram.
In a 2016 post, he praised the “amazing team” he worked with on “The Last Tycoon,” and in a 2019 post, he noted his work on the Netflix series “Dead to Me.”
“Shameless plug,” he wrote in the caption. “Shot this series end of last year. The girls are awesome... on Netflix.”
He has also shot commercials and music videos, according to his official website.
Moder married Roberts in 2002
Moder and Roberts tied the knot in 2002 in a secret ceremony at Roberts’ ranch near Taos, New Mexico.
Their wedding came a surprise even to their guests, who had been invited to the ranch to celebrate Independence Day. But at midnight, Roberts and Moder appeared and exchanged vows, People reported at the time.
The couple often celebrate their wedding anniversary with sweet social media posts.
In July, Roberts marked their 21st wedding anniversary on July 4 by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram showing her and Moder embraced in a passionate kiss.
"21," Roberts captioned the shot, adding explosion emoji and the hashtags #truelove #heckyeah and #fromhereonout.
Roberts shared a different throwback shot of her and Moder kissing last year to celebrate the couple's 20th anniversary. She captioned it with the hashtags #cantstopsmiling and #cantstopkissing.
Moder and Roberts share three children
The couple are parents to 19-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and 16-year-old son Henry.
Roberts opened up about parenting two kids in college, and one who will soon be off to college, in her recent interview with Hoda.
"I parent them the same way out of the house that I parented them in the house," she said. "'Are you getting enough sleep? And you sound like you’re sick. And are you drinking tea? And text me when you get home.'"
She also opened up about her strong bond with her children as they get older.
"We all were on a FaceTime the other day together, all of us. And it was, like, this gift that we had, these four minutes of us all looking at each other. We were all so happy to be together in that way," she said.
Roberts celebrated her twins' 19th birthday in November with a sweet Instagram throwback photo of her with them as babies.
"There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together," she wrote in the caption.
Moder and Roberts don't share too much about their kids on social media, although Moder shared one fun selfie snapped by Hazel in 2019.
"The Day Of the Daughter. So lucky this girl is my daughter...and that she takes these awesome selfies on my phone. Staying gnarly," he wrote in the caption.
The proud dad also celebrated his younger son Henry's skateboarding skills in a 2021 video.
"Turning 14…. turning in the air…summers turn. Ya Henry," Moder wrote in the caption.
Moder also shared a rare photo of their family of five back in 2019.
"That pretty mama in the middle. We love you so much," he wrote in the caption.
Moder and Roberts have celebrated their love story on social media
Though the couple generally keep a low-profile when it comes to their personal lives, Roberts and Moder have been known to post sweet pics to celebrate special holidays and milestones — as well as heartfelt messages about their love for one another.

In honor of Valentine's Day in 2022, Roberts posted a throwback pic of her and Moder showing them kissing.
In April 2022, Roberts was a guest on “The Jess Cagle Show” on SiriusXM where she acknowledged the role that sweet smooches have played in her marriage.
When host Jess Cagle mentioned the actor's upcoming 20th wedding anniversary, she responded, laughing, "Twenty years kissin' Danny Moder."
Cagle asked the "My Best Friend's Wedding" star how she and Moder planned to celebrate the occasion. "More kissin'!" Roberts replied.
The actor also shared the secret to the couple's marital success. "Two bathroom sinks and lots of kissing," she joked.
