Patrick and Brittany Mahomes arrived at day five of the Wimbledon Championships dressed in the kind of upscale attire the elite tennis tournament has become known for. Arriving at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on July 5, he wore a pinstriped suit while she opted for a pleated skirt and polo set from Gucci. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife, a retired athlete herself, casualized their respective preppy ensembles with two different pairs of white sneakers.
Brittany Mahomes wore an outfit embodying the quintessential tennis aesthetic, courtesy of Gucci. The set consisted of the brand’s Polo Top with Striped Trim, which she paired with the matching Pleated Skirt with Striped Trim. The navy blue shirt, retailing for $1,980, featured red and white striped accents along the buttons, collar, sleeves, and around the Gucci logo displayed on the front. The $1,500 skirt featured the same pattern along the hem, offering a unified look to the former professional soccer player and co-founding owner of the Kansas City Current.
Patrick Mahomes is one of many Wimbledon attendees this year who opted for a pinstriped suit. The tapered pants and double-breasted blazer featured a matching pattern of thin vertical white stripes spaced out evenly across the taupe fabric. He wore a white shirt sans collar to pair with the set.
Tennis is, of course, strongly associated with white sneakers, and both husband and wife went that route when it came their footwear. Aligning with the color palette of her outfit, Brittany Mahomes wore a pair of Gucci Ace sneakers embellished with three rows of crystals along the platform. The sides of the sneakers featured a section of navy and red stripes embroidered with the gold Gucci bee on top. The back of the shoes read Gucci over a shiny splash of color — while the left was red, the right was navy.
Patrick Mahomes, meanwhile, wore sneakers in all-white colorway; the clean monochrome look picked up his white shirt and the pinstripes of his suit. The shoes served as a relaxed complement to his formal attire.
